In Quiet Amazement
by Caél Ó Maolain
I've waited for this time for so long When I could fly to the stars With the simplest of thought, Wandering amongst the clouds of light In quiet amazement of Heavenly life. Where are the questions? Where are the answers? Neither here nor there, right nor wrong. Oh, what does it matter anyway when Life is just now and I'm happy to be? No sentries to guard me. No fetters to bind me. Just free amongst the stars In wonderment of all that is. Can it be the same on Earth? Why not? Then homeward bound where Trees and grass amaze my soul and Flowers dance in time to the music of the wind. And to my greatest amazement of all I find I have created all my amazement!
